Post-doctoral researcher

My interests in marine science are broad, although I take particular interest in collecting population data on vulnerable species of marine fauna. I completed my PhD thesis in March 2016, entitled “The conservation biology of tropical inshore dolphins in north-western Australian waters”, where I provided population data to improve the science-base for conservation and management of inshore dolphins in this relatively unstudied region.
Since joining MUCRU in 2012, my research has focussed on collecting population data on inshore dolphins off tropical north-western Australia. This research, which formed the basis of my PhD thesis, included the following project:

Snubfin and humpback dolphins in the Kimberley region, Western Australia
