Workshop: Building long-term research capacity and partnerships for marine wildlife research in Western Australia
The agenda has now been finalized for the one-day workshop to discuss research needs and priorities to inform management of marine wildlife in Western Australia. Workshop participants will include representatives from federal and state government, researchers from Western Australian universities and other research organisations, representatives from the oil and gas industry, and environmental consultants. The workshop will consider marine wildlife broadly (e.g. seabirds, sea turtles, and whale sharks), but will maintain a special emphasis on marine mammals.
